It started with our own daughter.
After our daughter was born, we naturally started thinking much more about safety and all of the ‘what if’ situations you suddenly think about as a parent.
The idea really crystallised when we were in Thailand with her when she was around seven months old. Being abroad with a baby made us think about things like: what would happen if we became separated, if there was an accident, if we were unable to speak for her, or if somebody needed important information about her quickly?
We started looking for something that could keep all of the important information in one place — emergency contacts, medical information, allergies and anything else a parent might want someone to know — but we struggled to find a product that did everything we wanted.
We didn’t want something that needed charging, relied on live GPS or constant tracking, or felt like another piece of technology to manage. We also didn’t want something bulky, clinical or unattractive that a child wouldn’t want to wear every day.
We wanted something simple, safe, discreet and beautifully designed that could quietly sit on a child’s wrist and only become important when it was actually needed.
That is where LulaBand came from.
LulaBand was created with a simple belief:

Privacy-first by design
Many safety products rely on GPS tracking, batteries monitoring. We intentionally designed LulaBand differently.
- No live tracking.

Instead, LulaBand only shares information when someone physically taps or scans the band-giving families more control, more privacy and greater peace of mind.
